RAIL
Arriva Trains Wales: services between Cardiff Central and Newport and Cardiff Central and Bridgend via Barry are being delayed because of signalling problems caused by the poor weather conditions. Valley Line services are subject to delays of up to 20 minutes
East Coast: several services between London and Leeds have been cancelled. Services to and from Scotland, the North East and West Yorkshire have been revised and passengers are likely to experience increased journey times. Passengers are advised not to travel to destinations between Perth and Inverness due to the extreme weather conditions in the area.
East Midlands Trains: No trains between Sheffield and Leeds.
First Capital Connect: operating an emergency snow timetable with fewer trains running at reduced speeds on all routes into and out of London King's Cross and Moorgate. A points failure at Watlington is further affecting services to King's Lynn and trains cannot call at Balcombe on the Thameslink route due to icing on the conductor rail.
Chiltern Railways: Kidderminster to London Marylebone services will start at Stourbridge Junction and a reduced peak hour service will run between Aylesbury, Amersham and London Marylebone. Trains towards London will not call at West Ruislip, but will call additionally at South Ruislip. Passengers may travel between South Ruislip and West Ruislip on London Underground services.
First Great Western: Trains between Bristol and Newport and Cardiff are delayed because of signalling problems at Severn Tunnel Junction. Trains between Exeter St Davids and Plymouth are being delayed because of signalling problems at Newton Abbot and trains between Newton Abbot and Paignton are currently suspended.
First TransPennine Express: all First TransPennine Express services between Manchester and Edinburgh are currently unable to call at Edinburgh due to a points failure caused by the adverse weather conditions and will start and terminate at Glasgow instead. Customers travelling to and from Edinburgh are advised to use a ScotRail service where their tickets will be valid.
London Midland: trains on all routes in the Worcester area are delayed by up to 30 minutes and trains between Bletchley and London Euston are being delayed by up to 40 minutes because of signalling problems caused by the poor weather conditions.
London Overground: Services between Watford Junction and London Euston are currently suspended. Customers may use London Midland or London Underground services.
National Express East Anglia: Services between Peterborough and London Liverpool Street and Lowestoft and London Liverpool Street will stop at Ipswich. Change at Ipswich for London Liverpool Street. Two trains between Norwich and London Liverpool Street are cancelled: the 17.50 and the 18.20. The 21.38 London Liverpool Street to Norwich service is cancelled.
Northern Rail: trains in the Manchester area are subject to alterations and delyas because of train crews struggling to get to work. Trains between Liverpool Lime Street and Manchester Picadilly/Victoria are delayed because of signalling problems in Earlestown. Trains between Carlisle and Newcastle are delayed because of the weather, and trains on all routes via Carlisle are delayed because of broken down trains. Trains between Preston and Ormskirk are delayed because of signalling problems in Rufford, and trains between Blackpool and Preston may be delayed because of signalling problems at Kirkham and Wesham. Trains between Barnsley and Huddersfield may be delayed by signalling problems at Penistone.
ScotRail: The following services have been suspended because of poor weather conditions: Between Dalmuir and Springburn; Between Milngavie and High Street (Glasgow) / Bellgrove; Between Edinburgh and Glasgow Central via Carstairs.
Southeastern: Trains running either hourly or half hourly. Check the website for details.
South West Trains: no trains from London Waterloo to Hampton Court, Guildford via Epsom, Leatherhead and Chessington South, between Teddington and Shepperton, between Virginia Water and Weybridge, between Ascot and Ash Vale and between Guildford and Aldershot. No trains will call at Longcross. Other trains will be operating to a reduced timetable. Check the website for details.
Southern Trains: Some trains cancelled between London Victoria to Southampton/Bognor Regis, Portsmouth Harbour to Horsham, Southampton to Horsham, Haywards Heath to Littlehampton and Eastbourne, Brighton to West Worthing, Lewes and Hove. The following peak trains are cancelled: 18.22 London Bridge to Brighton, 17.47 London Victoria to Littlehampton, 18.36 London Victoria to Brighton, 16.32 London Victoria to Southampton, 17.32 London Victoria to Southampton and 18.32 London Victoria to Southampton.
Stansted Express: A reduced service will run at 25 and 55 minutes past the hour from London Liverpool Street and 15 and 43 minutes past the hour from Stansted Airport.
Virgin Trains: Trains between Carlisle and Glasgow Central may be delayed because of signalling problems caused by poor weather conditions at Carstairs and Motherwell. Trains on all routes via Carlisle are being delayed because of broken down trains caused by poor weather conditions causing congestion and reducing the number of platforms available.

Luton Airport: The airport's operations are currently suspended. Passengers or those meeting people at the airport are strongly advised to contact the airline as flights may be subject to delay, diversion or cancellation.
Southampton Airport: the airport has suspended operations whilst snow is cleared from the runway. Officials said they hoped the runway would not reopen until the morning. Passengers are advised to check with their airline before travelling to the airport.
Manchester Airport: the airport has been forced to close due to snow and severe weather. Officials are uncertain when it will reopen as heavy snow continues to fall. Passengers are advised to check with their airline for the latest information.
Liverpool Airport: the airport has now reopened after closing temporarily from 5.30am due to heavy snow and ice. Ten flights have been cancelled and several others delayed. Passengers are advised to check with their airline for the latest information.
Glasgow Airport: the airport is open but passengers are warned that snow and poor weather conditions may lead to delays and cancellations. Passengers are advised to check with their airline before travelling to the airport.
Edinburgh Airport: the airport is open but passengers are warned that snow and poor weather conditions may lead to delays and cancellations. Passengers are advised to check with their airline before travelling to the airport.
Aberdeen Airport: the airport is open but passengers are warned that snow and poor weather conditions may lead to delays and cancellations. Passengers are advised to check with their airline before travelling to the airport.
Leeds Bradford Airport: the airport is open but is experiencing problems due to snow and poor weather conditions. Some flights have been cancelled and others have been delayed.
easyJet: the airline has cancelled a number of flights on its European network, including two between Luton and Milan.
