Judge Simon Cowell has admitted that this year's X Factor lacks "big belters" like Leona Lewis or Alexandra Burke - though says the contestants will still receive plenty of support.
Judge Simon Cowell has admitted that this year's X Factor lacks "big belters" like Leona Lewis or Alexandra Burke - though says the contestants will still receive plenty of support.
Cowell gave an effusive answer when asked is this year’s bunch of performers matched up to the line-ups in previous years.
"I've got to put them in the studio yet,” he explained. “I'm happy with them but they're different. They're not like these big belting artists."
However, he still pledged to give them his backing and added: "They're going to get a lot of support whatever happens."
Despite rumours that the winner’s single would be Journey's Don't Stop Believin' or Miley Cyrus’s The Climb, Cowell has claimed that he hasn’t made his mind up yet.
Oh, and watch out Cheryl Cole - for it turns out your fellow judge apparently has a bit of a thing for you (as if that wasn’t already made clear previously).
Cowell alleged: "You can't not fancy her," going on to concede that he probably fancied her more than she fancied him. As if!
